Darren Southworth
PhD Student
Darren received his BS in Engineering Physics from the University of
Maine before joining Cornell's Department of Materials Science and
Engineering in 2005. He began work with Keith Schwab in January of 2007
on a project intended to integrate the mostly lab-based technology of
microelectrical mechanical system (MEMS) into the well-developed silicon
processing techniques used in modern electronics, in which he
collaborates closely with Jeevak Parpia (Physics) and Harold Craighead
(Applied & Engineering Physics).
